Peruvian commandos and U.S. Marines approach the shores of Salinas, Peru, on July 4, 2004, as part of an amphibious assault exercise during UNITAS 45-04. UNITAS is an annual training exercise focused on advancing operational capabilities and inter-operations, as well as relations between the U.S. Navy and South American naval forces.
