Pacific Ocean, (June 4, 2004) - A Sailor assigned to Air Department, V-4 division aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), joins flight deck personnel while deploying the ship's flight deck barricade. The barricade is designed to catch aircraft that has suffered mechanical failure, preventing a safe arrested landing.
