Persian Gulf (Feb. 5, 2004) - Fire controlmen stationed aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Fletcher (DD 992) conduct corrective maintenance on a Phalanx Close-In Weapon System (CIWS). Fletcher was deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF).
